2024 Conference Poster Session

The North American Raspberry & Blackberry Association is pleased to offer conference participants a way to share their latest research findings. Posters may be submitted by undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and extension educators associated with academic institutions and government agencies (USDA, etc.), and by industry researchers. Posters from growers about their farms or on-farm research are encouraged.

Poster topics may include raspberry/blackberry production/cultivation practices, yield improvement, pest/disease control, plant protection (pesticides/fumigants), improvement of product quality, variety research/breeding/trials, post-harvest handling, food safety, shelf life, new technology, economic models/survey, caneberry health benefits, etc. Posters from industry must be scientific and informational in nature and not sales-oriented or product-specific.

How to Apply

Each poster submission must identify at least one primary author and it is strongly encouraged that the primary author be available to attend the 2024 Conference in Wilmington, North Carolina on February 27th & 28th to participate in a discussion and a Q&A session. Each poster presenter is responsible for printing and displaying their poster.

  • Posters applications were due by January 26th, 2024.
  • Submitting authors will be notified of acceptance no later than February 9th, 2024. Applications will be periodically reviewed and notifications will be sent promptly after review.
  • Acceptance: Posters will be accepted on the basis of relevancy and space available.
